Come print posters that you can take with you to your local Pride Parade/Festival!
Art has long been used in the queer rights movement as both a tool for activism and a means of expressing identity, resilience, and joy. In this class, we aim to continue that tradition. We’ll be using moveable type and old-school printing presses to print messages of resistance, resilience, support, and joy.
Open to queer folks and allies alike. 50% of all profits from the class will be donated to Odyssey Youth Movement in Spokane. Learn more about Odyssey Youth Movement here: https://www.odysseyyouth.org/
This class will be taught by SPPC board member Pixie Carlson.
