    Hotel Haya x House of Old Navy FL Chapter Present: Pride Never Ends Workshop and Kiki Ball

    This event is a celebration of pride and community, hosted by Hotel Haya and the House of Old Navy FL Chapter. Join us for a day filled with dance workshops, performances, and a fabulous ball to showcase your true colors! In collaboration with Christian Valentin, Southern Mother Bearded Lady, and FL Father Quavo Old Navy.

    Location: Las Novedades Space Inside Hotel Haya

    Come ready to learn, dance, and embrace the spirit of pride that never ends. Enjoy a day of dance and ballroom workshops then come back later in the evening for our Pride Never Ends Ball!

    Tickets to the day of workshops are $15 per class or $40 for all 3 classes. Purchasing ahead of time is highly encouraged as space is limited for classes.

    Workshop Class Schedule:

    • 1:00-2:00pm: Heels Dance Class with Christian Valentin & Star Fyyre
    • 2:30-3:30pm: Introduction to Performance with Vodou Old Navy
    • 4:00-5:00pm: Advanced Performance with Legendary Father Quavo Old Navy

    Kiki Ball Schedule:

    • 7:30pm: Doors open
    • 8:00pm: LSS (legends, statements, & stars) | Watch the ballroom legends and stars kick off the ball
    • 8:30pm: Ball compeition begins
    • 11:30pm: Event ends

    ***For the ball, tickets wil be $15 and only available at the door. Tickets and space will be limited and not guaranted past our space's capacity***

    Face $$ - Tracey ‘Africa’ Norman was the first African American trans woman to appear on a box of Clairol in the 1970’s serving the people CARTA. Come photo shoot ready in a creative effect dawning the colors of the transgender pride flag.

    Runway $$ - Dykes on Bikes is an organization that formed at the 1976 San Francisco Pride Parade when a small group of women came together to ride in the parade. Their mission is to support philanthropic endeavors in the LGBTQIA+ community & ride in the parade as a line of defense. Bring it in a full on biker effect in honor of the Legendary ladies.

    Hand Performance $$ - ““Born This Way” is a world renowned song by Pop artist Lady Gaga about self-liberation, and loving every part of yourself, no matter your race, gender, or sexuality. This song single handedly helped individuals around the world find comfort in their own skin. Tonight bring it in a look inspired by Lady Gaga and don’t forget to include a pair of sickening gloves!

    Bizarre $$ - The Stonewall Monument in NYC marks the birthplace of the modern LGBTQIA+ rights movement. It’s a historic site that commemorates the 1969 Stonewall Riots which sparked a wave of activism. Bring it as a your own interpretation of one of the popular LGBTQ monuments.

    Shake that a$$ - this category only has ONE LEGEND in ballroom history. Tonight bring it in honor of the TwerkGod himself, The LEGENDARY Quavo Old Navy! YouTube, IG, TikTok and more look do your research and pick a look!
