TaskForce Prevention and Community Services is a multi-service, grassroots organization committed to improving the sexual health and overall well-being of LGBTQ+ youth of Color in Chicago by providing a safe space for fellowship, HIV/STI screening and education, and on-site referrals to medical, housing, and other social services.

TaskForce Annual Pride Mini BallStep into a night of power, presence, and pride at TaskForce Prevention and Community Services’ Annual Pride Mini Ball — a celebration rooted in the rich legacy of Ballroom culture and the resilience of LGBTQ+ communities on Chicago’s West Side.Open to all, the Pride Mini Ball welcomes both newcomers and seasoned performers to walk, witness, and honor the artistry that defines Ballroom. This year’s featured category is Pride colors — show off your fiercest look inspired by the flags that represent our diverse community. With high-energy competition and a cash grand prize, the night uplifts the spirit of resistance and visibility at the heart of Pride.No experience is necessary — just bring your full self. Whether you’re walking the runway or cheering from the sidelines, this is a space where you belong.
