One of the main reasons for The Malteazers existence was to create a space where everyone and everyBODY feels like they can be their truest selves. Inclusivity is such an important foundation to us (and burlesque), so of course one of our favorite times of year is Pride Month! That way we can continue to showcase our authentic creativity with our community through the lens of LGBTQIA2S+ and hopefully inspire others to do the same.

Join us @9PM where we will kick things off by raffling off our VIP section for the evening. VIP seating will receive the most intimate attention from dancers and are prime comedy come range. Best of all we will provide you with a bottle of champagne for you and your guests.

A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Stonewall Alliance Chico and they will also be accepting donations to continue their mission to provide community resources for some of the most marginalized members of our community. About the performers:

The Malteazers are an all inclusive, body-positive burlesque troupe that have been performing in Chico and the nearby surrounding areas of Northern California since 2011. They are starting a new era now that their birthplace The Maltese has permanently closed and are ready to show you why burlesque continues to bringing in audiences even after many venues have been hit hard by the pandemic.

We are excited to announce our MC for the evening as none other than Dahlia Foxx!

Dahlia Foxx is Chico's friendly neighborhood swamp witch, Dahlia Foxx is a rough around the edges kinda gal who aspires to be an Elvira, but is more of a Tina Belcher. She's a little rock and roll, a little sultry, and always hungry. She has an insatiable desire for Bigfoot and recently learned that Mothman is a gentle lover. Dahlia's been playing on NorCal stages and stealing mics since 2021, and is unleashing her chaos around California before her next stop, world domination. When she isn't covered in chip crumbs you can find her spending all of her money on costuming, as our Lord and Savior Dolly Parton once said, "It costs a lot to look this cheap."

Gnarly Deli was established on Black Friday, November 2016. They are on a never ending quest to provide you with the very best sammiches in the world and will stop at nothing!

We wanted to post a little blurb here about tickets as they will not be the same as our last event.

Here is a breakdown of the different types:

• Table (4 people max) - $45

Tables are located towards the front closest to the stage. Here you will have the best opportunity to participate as an audience members. Performers will get up close and personal. Added bonus of somewhere to set all the delicious food and drinks Gnarly will be serving up that night. Perfect for a night out with someone special, weekend drinks with friends, etc. If you need special accommodations please message us on Facebook or Instagram so that we can work something out.

• Single - $15

This is row seating, first come first serve. You will still have great view of the stage, and will still be close to the action from time to time. Best for larger parties (5+ as tables are limited).

We anticipate to sell out like pretty much all shows at this venue have done so far, so get your tickets now while you still can. Single tickets may be available at the door for $20 on a first come first serve basis for remaining seating and standing room only.
