About this event

Come out and show your pride with Keep the Shoals Beautiful, Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area, Tennessee RiverLine, and Shoals Diversity Center as we host this year's Cypress Creek Pickup and Paddle on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 8AM - 12PM. We will provide you with the cleanup supplies you need to pick up litter as you paddle down Cypress Creek from the Cox Creek Bridge Canoe and Kayak Launch to Wildwood Park's takeout. Just bring your paddle equipment and check in with us anytime during the morning to participate!

Don't have a way to get back to the launch? No problem! We will shuttle all participants back to the launch point when they takeout, or shuttle you to the launch prior to your paddle if you would prefer to park at Wildwood for easy and quick cleanup after. (If parking at the launch, we can shuttle the driver of groups back to the launch, shuttle lone boaters, and prevent the need for groups to group before heading to the launch point. We will have someone available to watch over gear at the takeout while this process takes place.)

Last shuttles will run around 12:30PM.

Looking to cleanup the creek on land instead? Come grab supplies then go to your favorite creekside location, or any other outdoor space that could use some help in the Shoals.

Whether cleaning up by land or water, register here so we know to expect you. Thank you for helping to keep our creek clean!
