Presto Summit 

Facebook initially began developing Presto as a means of scaling to the data size and performance demanded by their enterprise. In Fall of 2012, a team of four engineers began architecting Presto, and by Spring of 2013, the first version was successfully rolled out within Facebook. Later that year, Facebook moved to open source Presto under the Apache License. Since then, the Presto community has grown tremendously, thanks to further contributions from Facebook among various external contributions from organizations both large and small.Founded in 2017 by many of the leading committers to the open source Presto project, Starburst has established itself as the enterprise Presto company. Alongside Facebook, Starburst continues to drive the Presto roadmap forward with major features like the new Cost-Based Query Optimizer.  The company's flagship product, the Starburst Enterprise Distribution, makes Presto easy to deploy on-prem or in the cloud, with the peace of mind of 24x7 support from the Presto experts.

The valet team will direct you to the waiting area where your shuttle will pick you up. Guests who prefer to self-park, Uber or Lyft, please arrive to our Event Lot at <A HREF="https://maps.google.com/?q=1205+Hamilton+Court,+Menlo+Park,+CA+94025&entry=gmail&source=g" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">1205 Hamilton Court, Menlo Park, CA 94025</A> and look for the event signage (Presto Summit) for shuttle pick up. The shuttle will take you directly to the building 14 lobby to check-in for the event.  
We would not recommend taking Caltrain and Bart to the event because we won't have shuttle pick up from there. If you will be taking Caltrain/Bart, please Uber/Lyft to the Event Lot as noted above and look for the event signage (Presto Summit) for shuttle pick up. The shuttle will take you directly to the building 14 lobby to check-in for the event.
