Sip + Create: Pressed Flower Soap Making Workshop & Summer Mocktails

Whether you're a passionate hobbyist, an aspiring entrepreneur, or someone simply seeking a unique and fulfilling art experience, this class is for YOU!

You will be taught how to make cold process soap from scratch using organic oils, essential oils, natural colorants and beautiful pressed flowers.

🍹 Sip and Create: To add an extra dash of fun, we've paired this workshop with refreshing summer mocktails. Sip on a refreshing drink as you immerse yourself in the creative process.

What's Included:

-Hands-on instruction

-High-quality, natural ingredients for crafting your own unique soaps

- take home a 1lb loaf of Soap that you will customize - (that's 4 months worth of soap!)

- A Soap recipe, guide on commonly used oils with SAP Values, and step by step instructions to continue making soap from home or start your own soap making business

-Mocktails and lite snacks

Session is approx. 60 -90 min.

Safety Goggles/ Apron/ Gloves will be provided.

Participants will be handling Lye (Sodium Hydroxide), safety gear and responsible instructions will be provided, participants will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to class.

Please bring an old full-size towel with you to insulate your soaps on the way home. This is important for the saponification process of soap.

Minimum age requirement is 10 years of age or older.

For a full refund to your original payment method, attendees must reach out to White Lily Shoppe for a refund 7 days in advance to the event. If after 7 days before the event, a class credit will be given.

If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or moved, your tickets are still valid for the new date and no further action is required. Emails will be sent to ticket holders notifying them of any available refund options for the event.

About White Lily Shoppe:

The workshop will be led by Bianca, the owner of White Lily Shoppe, a local natural soap brand founded in 2019. After several years into her Social Services career, she decided in 2022 to pursue her creative passion for the art of soap making. As a self-taught artisan, she has achieved remarkable success, strategically selling her products at local pop-ups, farmers markets, and securing partnerships with boutiques nationwide, in addition, Bianca teaches soap making workshops across the DMV area and is dedicated to a mission of educating others on the simplicity of cleansing our bodies with the simple ingredients found in nature.
