Do bugs bug you? Maybe you just need to get up close and personal!

This family friendly program is for children ages 2-6 and their caregivers to attend together. Please ONLY register the children participating. Babies and caregivers do not need to register!

This preschool program utilizes the power of nature play to learn about insects in Louisville. Play scientist with your child as we learn together. What are the three parts that make up an insect? Can you spot insects around the Museum campus?

This program series combines structured play, unstructured nature play, story-time, and hands-on-crafts to learn about outdoor history in Louisville! Classes will run through August, attend one or many!

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring an older/younger child to this series?

Yes! Feel free to bring babies and/or older siblings. Only register children who will participate in the craft for planning purposes.

Is this a drop off program?

No. This is a family enrichment program and parents or caregivers are expected to attend with their child. Don't worry, it's fun!

Is there a bathroom on site?

Yes! There is a single stall bathroom available inside the museum. There is not a changing table or a wheelchair accessible bathroom.
