Preparing for Postpartum Workshop
Are you pregnant and wondering what you need to know after baby arrives? Learn how to prepare for a rested & supported postpartum.
Offered on the second Sunday of every month.
The best way to care for a newborn is to care for the mother.
We pour a lot of energy into birth, thinking about how it will go, creating a birth plan, reading books, and maybe even attending a child birth class. Birth is beautiful and transformational, but giving birth is only the beginning. When a baby is born, so is a mother and the birth of a mother can be more intense than child birth.
This workshop is for you if you want to learn how you can create a postpartum environment that supports the physiological needs of the new mother.
The time after a birth is known as a golden window in many cultures because of its ability to regenerate ourselves as women. It is believed that how a woman is cared for during the first 40 days after birth will be reflected in her health for the next 40 years.
Come to this free workshop to learn...
- Strategies for avoiding overwhelm and exhaustion during the first six weeks of postpartum
- ((Main topic on odd months))Why & How to build your village to create a thriving postpartum (because postpartum is forever!).
- ((Main topic on even months)) What are the best postpartum foods?
This workshop will be offered virtually using Zoom.
More details will follow after registration.
Birthing and non-birthing parents welcome! All family structures welcome!
