Does Medicaid cover this class?

Yes, those with DC Medicaid (AmeriHealth, Amerigroup, Medstar, and HSCSN) are covered. To waive the class fee, you must: 1) enter the promo code during checkout. If you do not have a promo code, contact us to register over the phone and 2) complete the registration form with your insurance info.

Does private insurance cover this class?

It depends on your insurer. We can provide a receipt for reimbursement to your insurer or for FSA/HSA/HRA. Please contact us if you require specific information on the receipt.

Do you accept FSA/HSA payments?

Yes, please use the following process: 1) Go to https://buy.stripe.com/9AQaFobiqgFc652aER and make your payment; 2) Come back to Eventbrite and use the promo code provided at checkout and register for class. If you need help, call us, and we will manually process your registration.

What if I cannot afford the class?

We have limited pro bono and sliding-scale spaces per quarter for all classes. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

Are masks required?

During periods when there is a surge of viruses, we may require masks to protect other class attendees, our instructors, and developing babies. You are welcome to wear a mask at your discretion. We also have masks and a hand sanitizing station available at the front desk.

What if I forget lunch, are there delivery options?

Yes, there are several food delivery service options, including DoorDash, Uber Eats, ToastTab, and GrubHub. Each platform offers a plethora of diverse food options for all diet types within our geographic area.

Can children attend the class?

While we love and welcome their presence in our space, they cannot attend class. If childcare is a barrier, please contact us to discuss your options.

Is this class appropriate for teen parents?

Yes, teen parents are welcome to attend this class with a parent, partner, or other support person. The information is appropriate for parents of any age and includes many hands-on activities.
