No matter where you find yourself during the pregnancy or postpartum period, we can all use a little support! Maybe this time doesn't feel as "magical" as you expected. Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, bad about yourself, or something just feels off. This group is designed to be a support for you during this unique time. We will gather to share in the highs and lows of parenthood, discuss common pregnancy and postpartum struggles, learn strategies to support mental health, and find a sense of community.

This group is free and open only to those who are New Birth Company clients. This is an in-person group at New Birth Company.

All pregnant people, expectant mothers, and new mothers welcome. Children under 2 are welcome to attend with you. We ask that partners and older children remain at home.

*This group is facilitated by a licensed social worker. This group is not a therapy group, and should not serve as a substitute for therapy. If you feel that you are a danger to yourself or to others, please reach out for support immediately.

What is New Birth Company Birth Center?

We believe natural childbirth is an awe-inspiring physical, emotional and spiritual experience that captures all senses of our bodily spectrum.

Using sight, sound, smell, taste and touch, we enhance the birth experience. You will see soothing colors that make you smile. You will hear soothing music commissioned specifically for women and childbirth. You will smell natural scents such as lavender and comfrey. You'll have a blueberry flax smoothie from the kitchen to keep up your energy. A wise woman's hands guides your body to choose its best position for birth.

Our facility also provides clinic rooms for pregnancy visits and well woman care, as well as space for classes and community gatherings. We have two birth centers, located in Kansas City, Kansas and Overland Park, Kansas.
