Grace Church is excited to offer weekly Prayer Pilgrimages in the nave for those seeking a physical connection to our sacred space.

Registration for this Prayer Pilgrimage has closed. We hope you'll be able to join us for another session. Prayer Pilgrimage sessions are held each Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 - 2:30 PM or 2:30 - 3:00 PM.

<p>In-person gatherings at Grace Church will follow CDC guidelines as well as required health and safety procedures outlined by the Diocese of Atlanta. Some of these guidelines are detailed below and will be sent in your confirmation email so you have a copy for your records.</p><p>Prayer Pilgrimages are hosted by The Rev. Dr. Stuart Higginbotham on Thursdays from 2:00 - 2:30 PM or 2:30 - 3:00 PM. If you would like to attend, please register/reserve a spot for each household member in attendance.  Space is limited to eight people per session and registration is required for contact tracing purposes if necessary. Please note that registration closes two hours prior to each prayer session. Walk ins cannot be accommodated at this time.</p><p></p><h3>BEFORE YOU COME</h3><p>Please monitor yourself and members of your household for any symptoms of illness. Before you head to the church, please ask yourself the following questions:</p><ul><li>Has anyone in your household had a fever (temperature of 100.4°F or greater), new cough, shortness of breath, or other <a href="https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">symptom of COVID-19</a> in the last three (3) days?</li><li>Has anyone in the household had close contact with someone with COVID-19 or who has been exposed to COVID-19?</li><li>Has anyone in the household tested positive or awaiting results from a COVID-19 test?</li></ul><p>If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, please refrain from attending a prayer pilgrimage for a period of at least fourteen (14) days.</p><p>Restrooms at the church are available for emergency use only, please plan accordingly.</p><h3>ARRIVING AT GRACE</h3><p>As an act of hospitality and care for others, all persons over age two (2) are required to wear a protective face covering at all times when on the Grace Church campus. Please bring an appropriate face covering with you. Your mask should cover your nose and mouth completely.</p><p>Please maintain a six (6) foot distance between you and others who are not part of your household at all times when on the Grace Church campus. Please refrain from physical contact with parishioners that are not part of your household. Touch free greetings, while maintaining at least 6 feet of distance, are highly recommended and encouraged!</p><p>You will enter the building through the double doors under the bell tower along Boulevard.  If you arrive early, feel free to make use of the chairs and benches available.</p><p>Hand sanitizer is available for your use when entering and exiting the building.</p><h3>IN THE NAVE</h3><p>No printed materials or books will be available. You are welcome to bring your Book of Common Prayer or Bible from home if you&#x27;d like to make use of either. There may occasionally be online reading material available via a QR code so you may wish to bring a mobile device. (Please make sure the volume is muted.)</p><p>One side of the nave will be utilized for seating for the first session and the other side for the second session.</p><h3>AFTER YOUR PRAYER PILGRIMAGE</h3><p>Please maintain six (6) foot physical distancing as you exit the nave and narthex from the double doors facing Boulevard, under the bell tower.</p><p>If you should develop symptoms of COVID-19 and/or test positive within five (5) days of attending a prayer pilgrimage please contact Parish Administrator Reba Page at rpage@gracechurchgainesville.org or 770-536-0126, ext. 222.</p>
