Practical Handgun NH

Are you ready to get outside and get moving?  Standing behind a bench and shooting at stationary targets only gets you so far.  If you are looking to increase your shooting abilities, you will love this 4.5 hour class.

Practical Handgun  provides the opportunity for students to practice shooting fundamentals and learn various skills related to defensive carry under close supervision by a certified instructor in a small group setting. ( student ratio 1:2 or 1:3)

Topics include:

• Holster work

• Fundamentals: Stationary Drills 

• Different Shooting Positions

• Movement: advancing/retreating

• Shooting from Cover  

Equipment Required:

• Hand gun (.380 and higher) 

• 2 magazines

• Belt

• Strong side stiff holster with retention made specifically for the firearm. Outside the waistband preferred for novice shooters. *No  Blackhawk Serpa Holsters*

• 2 Mag Carriers (min)

• Ear and Eye protection ( electronic hearing protection strongly encouraged)

• Brimmed Hat

• Ammunition (min 300 rounds)

• Rain Gear 

Skill Level:  Novice to intermediate  If you can load, rack, unload, lock your slide back and use safe gun handling, then you are ready! We will teach you how to draw from a holster if you don't already know how. ( if you are not sure of your skill level, please ask) 

COST: $149

$75 deposit required to reserve your spot.  Balance Paid on or before class.

Refund Policy:  Full Refund with 30 days cancellation notice.  29 to 15 days cancellation notice a credit will be issued for another class within the calendar year.  Less than 14 days and no show will result in forfeit of deposit.  Class held Rain or Shine ( unless  range conditions are unsafe)
