About this event

Join us for this brief, interactive, and innovative dialogue between three health equity practitioners who bring deep and unique experiences and perspectives to the field. Through their stories and the insights that emerge from their conversation, you will gain practical and concrete ideas for intentionally integrating health equity principles into your daily work. This meeting is the first of two brief virtual workshops to deepen understanding, ignite creativity, and facilitate adoption of new practices to address overdose, suicide, and Adverse Childhood Experiences in an integrated manner that intentionally addresses health disparities. This is not a Webinar, but rather an interactive session during which you will connect with real people, generate questions and ideas, and engage in meaningful dialogue.

  • Dr. Karen Mancera-Cuevas, Deputy Director, Health Promotion,Illinois Department of Public Health
