Power Up with Low Code:  Solutions Development for the Non-Programmer

The Technology Association of Louisville Kentucky (TALK) is the open membership association for the technology community in and around Louisville, Kentucky. Its mission tocreate opportunities for job growth, job training, STEAM curriculum, plus public policy and advocacy around technology subjects inDC. One of 50+ tech councils in North America, including Canada.  TALK is a member of TECNA (Tech Councils of America).  We are an employer-led, independent, non-profit tech council.

Wouldn't it be great to go from a spreadsheet to an application in 30 minutes?  Enter the world of "low code" and Louisville's Jonathan Fletcher of Fletcher Data will show you how.  There are now tools and expertise that empower you to do just that with little or no programming experience.  The presenter will empower you to look at the options and understand how to think about solutions that you could implement in crunch time projects, or to solve problems with solutions that can work.   This work can:

<LI>Support mobile and multichannel initiatives.</LI>
<LI>Accelerate integration i.e. (deal with legacy issues).</LI>
<LI>Even streamline DevOps and automate the software development lifecycle</LI>
</UL>
If you are in the C-suite, or in IT, and want to just "figure it out" with something that can make the difference short-term, while long-term solutions are underway, this is a path forward.
Fletcher, a "low code" workplace innovation facilitator in IT circles, will speak to the state of the low-code industry, along with some mini case studies from a selection of the players. Names such as Appian, and Mendix are known players in this niche, but even the big guys have jumped in, like Google and Microsoft.  Fletcher will assist you in sorting and sifting through what is useful when.  Your ticket will cover dinner and networking, as well as the presentation.  Bring some own dilemmas for discussion.  All those with an interest in tech, and problem-solving for their industries are welcome!  You don't have to be a programmer to appreciate this session.
