    Speakers: Chris Griffith, LPCC-S, BIP

    Speaker Qualifications:

    Chris is Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor and current Program Manager for Family Life Counseling Service who has been employed by Christian Appalachian Project for 27 years. He is the Past President of the KY Mental Health Counselors Association, Past Chair of the KY Board of Licensed Professional Counselors where he served for 8 years. He sits as a Board member and Past Board Chair for Turning Point Domestic Violence Services. He received the 2013 and 2015 Mental Health Counselor of the Year Award, 2023 Outstanding Clinical Supervisor Award and was the 2020 recipient of the Dr. Bill Braden Award for outstanding service and promotion of the profession of counseling in Ky from the KY Counseling Association. He has been involved in extensive training in the areas of Intimate Partner Violence, Legal and Ethical Concerns for Counselors and advanced clinical techniques. He lives with his wife, Dee Dee and cat CoCo.
