This is the POW-MIA Highway 26 Memorial Ride. This run is to bring awareness to what a POW-MIA is and who those are in Oregon. It is also a fund raiser for the Oregon Veterans Motorcycle Association High Desert Eagles Chapter. Which is a tax deductible Non-profit 501C19 Same as a 501C3 only is a veterans Group.

POW= MEANS PRISONER OF WAR, MIA= MEANS MISSING IN ACTION

We will read from time to time a bio from one of the POW-MIA from Oregon.

The official ride starts at the American Legion in Seaside Oregon at 7:30 am. Saturday June 29th .However, those of us leaving from Central Oregon will be meeting at Wildhorse Harley Davidson on Friday June 28th at 7:00 am for the ride to Seaside. With a stop providing lunch for us in Sublimity Oregon, by the town.

Each day we will have 50/50 raffles, bug hit competitions, (this is where you buy target stickers and put on your bike or you and if a bug hits the center you could win the pot) There will be a full run raffle for $100.


Saturday Morning we will meet up at the American Legion in Seaside 1315 Broadway ST, Seaside, OR 97138. We will have a group photo taken at the prom circle then on to the American Legion Park in Beaverton Oregon. For a brief ceremony at the Park to honor our POW-MIAs for the area. We will then be police escorted to Paradise Harley Davidson for a lunch they provide for us. Then on to Sandy Fred Meyer for fuel and on to the Senior Center in Madras for a catered dinner and ceremony with raffle and auction.


Sunday morning we will depart from the Plateau Truck Stop in Madras and maybe a group photo by the Highway sign we bought 4 years ago. We will ride to John Day for a fuel stop and lunch. Then on to Ontario Oregon for the conclusion of the run.
Monday many of us will group together and ride back as a pack

Tickets will be sold via Event bright. All ticket sales are final and not transferable. All attending the ride must have a ticket and sign a waver as well as provide two copies of your emergency contact sheet filled out at your registration. 3 meals are included with the ticket price. (no substitutions or refunds)

Tickets are $45 per person prior to June 1, 2024 and then $60 till the event. Each person attending the run be it the rider or passenger must purchase a ticket.

This is a fund raiser for the Oregon Veterans Motorcycle Association-High Desert Eagles Chapter. A tax deductible non-profit association.


None riders who just wish to attend the dinner in Madras can do so with a RSVP prior to June 25th, 2024 and the cost is $25 for the dinner. (Riders this is included with your ticket purchase for the run) Which is being catered by Black Bear Diner in Madras Oregon.other contests that are fund raisers for OVMA, So bring your cash to take part in this fun. We will also have raffle items that are nice at the banquet in Madras.


Your run ticket will get you the meal on Friday in Sublimity, the banquet dinner in Madras, as well as the lunch in John Day and some other fun things.


We have stops along the way and the itinerary will also be posted here. You can do part or all of the run. A ticket for the run is required for all or part of the run.

· 9:00a.m.- KSU- First leg 92.5 miles

· 10:44 am- Maples Rest Area/Hwy 22 w/Gates, OR

· 11:00 am-Safety Briefing

· 11:10 am-KSU Sheriff Escort from off ramp to Sublimity/ Second leg 22.5 miles
