Description

What choices would you make if you had little time and little money to spare? Come with an open mind and heart, ready to learn experientially about issues of poverty and homelessness. Leave with ideas for what you can do to fight poverty and homelessness in our community.

During the 3 hour workshop, participants will:

  • Roleplay a month in the lives of low-income families

  • Meet others who care about the issue

  • Explore the impact of poverty on our community

  • Learn what you can do!

Please arrive promptly at 10:00am. Walk-ins will be accepted as space allows. Check-in will be in Lobby of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. 

** Please note: This Workshop is not appropriate for children under the age of 12.**
