Join us for an afternoon of storytelling, sisterhood, and tea sipping as we explore the ways Black women have shaped-and continue to shape-tea culture through tradition, innovation, and building community.
Learn about the role of Black women in tea society, including the history of tea globally, the history of tea in America, and the cultural connection and role of black women in tea society.
We will also talk about traditional and herbal teas and the medicinal and health benefits of various teas.
Attire is Tea Party Chic or What Feels Sweet!
Think florals, pastels, or pearls — but truly, come as you are. Fancy hats welcome, but not required.
