Poudre Pour

The Poudre Heritage Alliance (PHA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that manages the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area. Through interpretive and educational programming and media, our mission is to build a deeper understanding of the Poudre River’s national significance including its role in influencing water development, water law, and water management.

The craft brewers in Northern Colorado and Poudre Heritage Alliance understand that “Good Water = Good Beer!” The Poudre Pour highlights craft brews and the major ingredient that makes the stouts, lagers and ales so tasty…WATER from the Poudre River!
This event on Saturday, March 31, 2018, Noon – 4:00pm is not your typical brewfest though! The POUDRE POUR includes an afternoon of FUN and LEARNING with 11 craft beer tasting stations from brewers such as New Belgium, Horse & Dragon, Intersect, Soul Squared, Gilded Goat, Purpose, Odell, Coopersmiths, Maxline, Jessup Farm, and Rally King; appetizers such as pretzels with beer-cheese dip; special presentations such as the trailer premier of “The Power of Place” movie and a panel speaking about "A River of Many Uses"; kid activities such as “fishing” and t-shirt printing; live entertainment from BethStudio; art exhibitions from local photographers and Windsor Charter Academy; and a silent auction featuring trips, treats, tickets and more!
Proceeds will benefit the Poudre Heritage Alliance (PHA), working to PROMOTE a variety of historical and cultural opportunities, ENGAGE people in their river corridor and INSPIRE learning, preservation, and stewardship
The indoor/outdoor Poudre Pour event will be hosted at the Community Creative Center at the Historic Carnegie Building and the adjoining Heritage Courtyard in downtown Fort Collins. The venue reflects the region’s cultural heritage and ties directly to the event theme.
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with space limited to 500 people. There will be no ticket sales available at the door!
