Welcome to our Pottery Studio Wheel Throwing class! This class is designed for beginners who are interested in learning the art of pottery on the wheel. Wheel throwing is a traditional method of forming clay into shapes, using a potter's wheel to spin the clay while you shape it with your hands and tools.

During this class, you will learn the basics of wheel throwing, including centering the clay, pulling up the walls of a vessel, trimming and finishing techniques. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process step by step, so you can create your own unique and beautiful pieces of pottery.

You will also learn about the different types of clay and glazes, and how to choose the right ones for your projects. Our studio is equipped with a variety of tools and equipment that you will use during class, including pottery wheels, kilns, and a range of hand tools.

Whether you're interested in making functional pieces like bowls and mugs, or more decorative items like vases and sculptures, this class will provide you with the skills and techniques you need to create your own beautiful pottery. So come join us and let's get started on your pottery-making journey!

All materials will be included. We will not be firing or glazing the items made in the class.

Please dress in clothing/footwear you dont mind getting dirty in. Feel free to bring your own aprons/coveralls.
