Postcards and Placards Workshop supported by Culture House Sunderland

Date: Saturday 1st June

Time: 1.30pm to 4pm

Location: The Bridges, Sunderland

Age: 13+

Protests have played an important part of the pride movement. You’ll learn about the use of placards through protest and get the chance to create your own statement placard. This will form part of the Emerald 55 exhibition in February 2025.

We’ll also invite you to produce unique postcards which will be sent to 30 LGBTQ+ groups around the world, sharing positive messages of Pride in Sunderland.
