Positive Discipline Workshop
Develop strategies to teach children how to collaborate, work together, and identify and communicate their own feelings and needs.
In this interactive workshop on Positive Discipline, participants will discuss traditional disciplinary methods, evaluating the extent to which these methods promote valuable skills and foster the development of character. Educators will also learn how the classroom community can function as a microcosm for the wider world, teaching children how to collaborate, work together, and identify and communicate their own feelings and needs.
With participants doing the majority of the thinking and investigating, educators will leave with not only a deeper understanding of restorative justice in the classroom, but also practical strategies to create calm, collaborative classroom environments for all.
