This SEL Circle Professional Learning opportunity is a new offering from the BEST Initative, whose youth development focus is a tremendous value to our network. Many partners in the network attended "Engaging Children & Youth in Leadership" in December with Laurie Jo, and we received excellent feedback on incorporating more youth voice into programming. Positive Behavior Management

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Examine roles in de-escalating behavioral situations with youth
- Practice techniques to understand the underlying issues motivating youth’s behavior
- Identify appropriate strategies to promote positive behavior
This training focuses on youth workers' role in deescalating behavioral situations with youth using an asset-based approached. This training will help participants practice probing techniques to understand the underlying issues motivating youth's behavior. Participants will explore individual practices and appropriate behavior management strategies that help promote positive behavior.
