About this event

We will learn step by step how to draw proportional faces. We will discuss the foundations of the human face, the intricacies of the different facial features, and how they relate to expression. This is a mixed media class, and we will be working from photographs, so feel free to bring one to work with!

About the instructor:

Audrey Parker is an art teacher who loves to teach paper craft and painting. Her artistic practice revolves around creating realistic paper flowers, as well as watercolor paintings with elements of paper sculpture, focusing primarily on nature and our connection to it. She graduated from MECA in 2021 with a Masters in Art Education, and in 2019 with a B.F.A. in Painting and a minor in Art History. Growing up in rural Maine, Audrey has a deep connection to the natural landscape around us.
