Join Thomas O'Connor and IGDA Seattle at Bungie for our February 2018 speaker event!

Let's go over the technical and administrative work that goes into getting a console game out the door. With this information, you can better prepare your games to be ready for release on any console. Using examples from recently released console versions of games such as 'Hello Neighbor', 'Milanoir', and 'Elliot Quest', we'll cover numerous issues that developers run into throughout the process, from onboarding and development to submissions and release.

Thomas O’Connor is the studio director and a cofounder of PlayEveryWare, Inc. Working with other teams across the globe, using C++, Unity, and Unreal, Thomas has brought games to all major platforms: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo Switch. In 2017 the titles he’s helped to bring to consoles are Elliot Quest, Punch Club, Mr. Shifty, Phantom Trigger, and Hello Neighbor.



Event Schedule:

7pm: Doors open - trickle in and have some snacks.
7:30pm: The talk will begin.
8:30pm: Networking, mingling, and Q&A.
9pm: As a courtesy to the time of our generous hosts, we'll be out the door at 9 sharp.
