Welcome to PennTechShop!

Join us at the Radnor Memorial Library for a day filled with creativity and innovation. We will start creating web solutions for non-profit organizations. Yes, you will put your hands in projects, be part of a project team, and apply all your skills in programming languages like HTML, CSS and Javascript.

This workshop has been created for those in the early to middle phase of their careers, whether you're employed or unemployed. Are you self-taught, bootcamp graduate, college graduate or the one who desires to learn and improve a skill needed at work? Then, come and join our project team!

For those seeking job opportunities, learn how to polish your current projects and build something new. Increase your visibility by understanding how to show skill through your work.

Building a full-stack application isn't a small task, but if you're seeking employment as a web developer you should be able to demonstrate your skills in the stack. Even if you specialize in frontend or backend development, having knowledge of the full picture is valuable.

Frequently asked questions

Are there other ways to register?

Yes, you may call to register to the event at (814)203-2541 or send an email with just your name and a good contact number to info@jorgejefferds.com.

Do I need to bring a laptop?

You don't have to bring a laptop for the introductory meeting, but we will use our own devices when we start working on the projects until we are ready to provide equipment.

How much do I have to know HTML, CSS, or JavaScript?

You don't have to be expert in any programming language. We will use XP (Extreme Programming) and Agile as the methods for development. We will write codes and test our results in iterations, ensuring that each piece of code provides the expected results. This workshop is like a laboratory.
