About this event

  • 2 hours

Our tours feature a briefing about the Columbia Snake River System and how cargo moves on the river, an overview of the port’s commercial and industrial operations, the port’s budget and governance and a look at current projects.

The free public tours start and end at the port’s administration office and feature light snacks and refreshments. After the briefing, participants board a bus for a behind-the-scenes look at the port’s marine terminals, rail infrastructure and industrial facilities.

Attendees must bring government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport because they will travel through secured areas of the port overseen by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Coast Guard.

Reservations are required and spots fill up quickly.

Children age 6 and older are welcome.
