You're invited to Popcorn Comedy: an intimate standup comedy experience in the Somerville Theatre's 30-seat microcinema! Our comedians have been featured on Amazon Prime, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, The Second City, Don't Tell Comedy, the Boston Comedy Festival, and the New York Comedy Festival.This month's headliner is the hilarious Mo Mussa, the 2021 winner of the New England's Funniest Comedian competition and a finalist in the 2023 Boston Comedy Festival.<ul><li>Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.</li><li>Come early to watch classic cartoons on the big screen.</li><li>Grab candy, popcorn, and fountain drinks at the theater's snack bar or bring your own!</li><li>Outside food and drink are allowed in the microcinema (aside from alcohol)</li><li>Beer and wine are available in the lobby</li></ul>Opened in 1914, the historic Somerville Theatre is conveniently located right next to the Davis Square T stop on the Red Line. Parking is available nearby. The microcinema is located in the basement of the theater.
