Find your way to Whitehall Terminal (4 South Street) in Manhattan and leave the rest to us!
Our day-long adventure will begin at 9 am ET with a ride on the Staten Island Ferry and a unique photo opportunity with Big Head Fred, our 7-foot-tall caricature of Frederick Law Olmsted. Once on the island, we’ll enjoy a leisurely drive before arriving at Olmsted-Beil House Park, where Olmsted once lived and tested his scientific farming methods. Our partners at Friends of Olmsted-Beil House will guide us through the grounds and fill us in on the site’s preservation. Expect some walking to see the beach and Olmsted Way before heading back to the ferry around 4 pm ET.
