WHAT: A community picnic with baskets prepared by local Charlotte restaurants. Don't see something you like? Pack your own meal or purchase from the <A HREF="http://themayobird.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mayobird</A> food truck!
WHY: To celebrate the connection between local farms and local foods, and the importance of conservation.

Baskets will be available for pickup at 6 pm in Freedom Park on Friday, April 28 across from the band shell.
