Pomona Pumpkin Patch Pedal

We are a chapter of the LA County Bike Coalition and we organize events, rides, and educational campaigns to build awareness of the growing cycling community in our region and the needs of riders. We look to be the main advocate in our region and to empower people to take action and cycle freely and safely in their area.

Pomona Valley Bicycle Coalition

Join us for our 4th annual Pumpkin Patch Pedal Ride on Saturday October 8th! We will meet at Thomas Plaza at 9:00 am and head out at 10:00, The route will go through quiet and low-traffic streets to Cal Poly Pomona. Costumes are encouraged!
Our friends at <A HREF="http://www.godayone.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Day One</A> will be joining us with a raffle and giveaways. In the raffle are children's bike helmets, toys, and children's books, and the giveaways include cookbooks, aprons, and T-shirts. Thanks Day One! Bring water, a snack and a bicycle in good working order. This ride is FREE and open to anyone, but all participants should be able to ride a bike safely with the ability to brake, change gears, and balance while stopping and starting. All participants under 18 MUST wear a helmet and be escorted by a parent or guardian. Children under age 8 should be on a tag-a-long, bike trailer, tandem or other safe child-carrying device to participate in the ride. Free bike maintenance will be provided by the wonderful Sunset Cycles CA at 8:30am, at Thomas Plaza. Thanks Sunset Cycles! Y'all are rad.  Volunteers needed to be ride marshals.
