Welcome to POLY POP, a monthly first Saturday gathering for black queer and trans folks who are poly or poly-curious. We're here to gather, grow, get chose and blossom into more ethical hoes!
POLY POP is a community created for black queer and trans folks in Charlotte who embrace autonomy and self-determination in their non-monogamous/polyamorous relationships. We value open and honest communication, boundary-setting, and meaningful partnerships (with self and others).
POLY POP encourages interdependence while honoring emotional self-sufficiency and personal freedom. We recognize polyamory/non-monogamy as not solely focused on romantic or sexual relationships but a queer life choice that encompasses a wide array of connections (including familial, platonic, etc.) that contribute to the fabric of our lives.
We believe in polyamory as a place of possibility for valuing all forms of human connection and the complexities they bring. We offer a supportive space for exploration and connection, providing a unique opportunity to navigate the beautiful complexities of non-monogamous love and life amongst black queer and trans folks. Join us to engage in enriching discussions, build connections, and celebrate the expansiveness of living and loving through sharing in a good ass time together!
