Pollinator Planter Workshop

The Barrow County Cooperative Extension Office extends lifelong learning to Georgia citizens through unbiased, research-based education.

UGA Extension-Barrow County/Fort Yargo State Park

Workshop cost is $20.00. Register and pre-pay at Fort Yargo, or by using the Eventbrite link below. Registration deadline is April 1st. Pollinators are an essential part of our ecosystems, but they need our help! Learn how you can create a vibrant and healthy habitat for our pollinator friends. This workshop will begin with a quick talk about how to create habitat for pollinators in your backyard, with a focus on what to plant. Afterwards, we will create a take-home pollinator planter for a sunny spot in your yard. During this event we will also be promoting the Great Georgia Pollinator Census, a citizen-science project hosted by UGA Extension.
