The purpose of the LPC is to support an evolving, distributed range of library publishing practices and to further the interests of libraries involved in publishing activities on their campuses.The LPC is anAffiliated Communityof theEducopia Institute.

This workshop is hosted by the Educopia Institute and the Library Publishing Coalition as part of the IMLS-funded <A HREF="https://educopia.org/library-publishing-curriculum/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Developing A Curriculum to Advance Library-Based Publishing</A> project. At the Policy Lab workshop, library publishers will have the opportunity to participate in a “Policy Lab” workshop. The day will be focused on discussion and hands-on activities, and each participant will leave with two draft policies for their library publishing program, related to copyright, legal agreements, diversity, or preservation. About registration: Registration for the workshop is US$75 per attendee and includes breakfast, lunch, and morning and afternoon coffee breaks. The registration deadline is April 19. 
This event is part of the <A HREF="https://librarypublishing.org/library-publishing-forum/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">2019 Library Publishing Forum</A> (May 9-10), but you don't have to attend the Forum to attend the Policy Lab.
