Frequently asked questions

Whatʻs a typical day of summer camp?

8:15 - 8:30 am: Drop off; 8:30 - 12:30 pm: Structured and unstructured activities; 12:30 pm- 1:00 pm: Lunch; 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm: activity time; 2:30-2:45 pm: Pick up.

Are all campers together the entire day?

Campers are divided into 4 groups of ~10 kids per counselor. There are opportunities for groups to interact throughout the day. Field trips are primarily big group days. We do our best to put campers of similar age and maturity together for compatibility. Requests will be considered.

Why has the cost increased from last year?

Due to rising costs of labor, field trips, and operations, fees have been increased modestly. Session 1 and Session 2 (2 weeks) are $600. Session 3 (one week) is $300.

How are campers transported to field trips?

Camper parents and guardians are responsible for transporting children to and from field trip locations.

Are meals provided?

Campers must bring nourishing, full lunch boxes to give them lots of energy throughout the full day of camp.

What is the cancellation policy?

There is a $50 fee for cancellation within 30 days of registration. No refunds will be issued for cancellations less than 30 days before the start date of the enrolled session.

What if my child has an appointment during camp?

Best efforts will be made to accommodate an unavoidable need to arrive or leave early. However, we encourage parents to make appointments outside of camp hours or dates other than their session as this impacts the entire group.
