Save the date - Weds, May 8th at 6:30 pm - for another fantastic night of poetry - this time outdoors, if weather allows. Hosted by local poet Ray Cicetti, this event will feature readings from noted poets Adele Kenny and Robin Rosen-Chang, as well as time for audience members to take the mic and share a poem that they wrote or one that is meaningful to them.


Adele Kenny is the author of 25 books. Her poems, reviews, and articles have been published worldwide, and her poems have appeared in books and anthologies published by Crown, Tuttle, Shambhala, and McGraw-Hill. She served as associate editor of The Antiquer: Fine Art & Antiques from 2000-2005 and has been poetry editor of Tiferet Journal since 2006. Adele is the recipient of various honors and awards, including first place in the 2021 Allen Ginsberg Poetry Awards, poetry fellowships from the New Jersey State Arts Council, a Merton Poetry of the Sacred Award, first place Merit Book and Henderson Awards, a Writer's Digest Poetry Award, and the 2012 International Book Award for Poetry.


Robin Rosen Chang is the author of The Curator's Notes (Terrapin Books), a poetry collection that curates memory and explores how identity is shaped by familial and collective mythologies. Her work has been recognized with a 2023 Fellowship from the New Jersey Council on the Arts, an honorable mention for the Spoon River Review’s 2019 Editor’s Prize, and the Oregon Poetry Association’s Fall 2018 Poet’s Choice Award.  Rosen-Chang’s poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Michigan Quarterly Review, Plume, The Journal, Diode, Verse Daily, The Cortland Review, American Literary Review, and elsewhere. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry from the Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Kean University, and a Master’s in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. She teaches writing at Montclair State University..
