Join local writer, Alisha Skeel, in this community centered poetry workshop.
Are you a local poet looking for community? Join us for a peer-review-style workshop where you can nurture your early poems and connect with fellow writers.
During our time together, we’ll get acquainted, talk craft, and share our work for thoughtful feedback. If you’d like to participate, please bring one poem (under two pages, printed if possible) to workshop. Come prepared to both give and receive feedback in a supportive, collaborative environment.
This workshop is open to both new and seasoned poets—no MFA required. Just bring a kind heart and a learner’s mindset.
We are committed to fostering a BIPOC-, LGBTQIA+-, and disability-inclusive space. Hate speech or bullying of any kind—especially targeting marginalized groups—will not be tolerated, either on the page or in person.
