The Poe Museum welcomes the opportunity to celebrate and appreciate all the employees across Virginia Commonwealth University. In these very unusual times, we have found new and different ways to illuminate Poe for everyone, evermore, including virtual tours. We are thrilled to bring these to you.
Each tour purchase will allow one computer to join us for a zoom tour that is a mix of pre-recorded material and live Q&A sessions with Dean Knight, Programs Coordinator. Once you purchase a ticket, an email with your zoom link will be automatically sent to you. Please sign-in with us a few minutes prior to your tour time so that we can start right away. We have A LOT of interesting information to share about Poe and Richmond.
Once you have selected a tour, be sure to scroll further down the screen. You have the opportunity to purchase several titles about Poe and Richmond history. Each title is written by Chris Semtner, Museum Curator. These are optional and not required reading for your tour! Once you choose to purchase a book we will reach out to you about how to pick it up at the museum.
