Is registration limited?

Yes.  The Intro to PODD training (11/11 & 11/12) has very limited capacity of 25 participants. Alt Access (11/13) and SGD (11/14) each have registration limits of 50 participants.

Are there any prerequisites for the Introduction to PODD event on 11/11 & 11/12?

Accepted Answer

Anyone can register for the 2 day Introduction to PODD training.

Question 3

Are there any prerequisites for the Alternative Access & SGD PODD events on 11/13 & 11/14?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In order to register for the Alternative Access to PODD Books and SGD: Speech Generating Devices with PODD Page Sets trainings, you are required to complete the Introduction to PODD course prior to these events. There is a space on the order form to indicate the details of your participation

Do I receive CEUs for this event?

Accepted Answer

No. This course meets the requirements for 7 hours of continuing professional development for Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists as required by the licensing boards of each professional organization. A certificate that can be self-submitted will be issued
