People of Color in Independent Schools New York (PoCIS New York) invites you to a powerful day of connection, reflection, and community—created by and for people of color working in independent schools across New York.

In a time when our cherished spaces for gathering and growth face increasing challenges, The Gathering Ground emerges as a vital new space—one where we can root ourselves, support one another, and strengthen the foundation of our collective community.

Together, we will explore the theme of Collective Power through dynamic keynote speakers, restorative wellness experiences, interactive workshops, and more. Join us as we reconnect, recharge, and reimagine what’s possible—together.
