Join us for an exciting day of Trades Education program with TradesUp!

Experience S.T.E.A.M-based learning through this hands on workshop. Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math!

This free program explores the world of plumbing! Students will gain experience in the use of skills such as basic math, measuring, hand and eye coordination while developing a sense of confidence and self sufficiency.

Although this program is free, pre-registration is required, and all students must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited, so register today!

TradesUp is an initiative to support the development of the next generation of trades and craftspeople.

Can my student attend unaccompanied?

No, all students must be accompanied by an adult Age 18+. One adult is acceptable for up to 5 students.

Is this program free?

Yes- This program was made possible through generous grant funding. Pre-registration is required as space is limited

If I register but can not attend do I need to notify the museum?

Yes, if you are unable to attend after registering please email, Andrew.rowand@ct.gov.

Safety

Students will be provided with eye and hearing protection Students are required to wear closed toe shoes for their safety. We also ask that students do not wear loose fitting clothing or jewelry that could become caught while using tools.
