Will you be ready for Berkeley's next emergency?Whether you're new to Berkeley or you're a long time community member, the topic of disaster preparedness and the types of emergencies that we potentially face in Berkeley can make us anxious. Plug into Emergency Preparedness The Berkeley Fire Department is hosting an interactive disaster preparedness group discussion on December 6 at 630p on Zoom.Invite your neighbors, family and friends to come to our discussion and to get involved with others who are working to make a change in our readiness for Berkeley's next disaster. You will join in this interactive discussion aimed to help you get started or to continue to build upon your household's and our community's disaster readiness.If you haven't gotten around to starting your preparedness or if you've already been working towards readiness for your family and neighborhood, let's take this opportunity to look towards getting better ready together!Please direct any questions to the Office of Emergency Services at oes@cityofberkeley.info or (510) 981-5506.
