Join us for the opening of Pluck, an exhibition by our summer artist-in-residence, <a href="http://www.bristanleyart.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Briana Miyoko Stanley </a>on Saturday, July 16 from 2-6pm.Through her large-scale drawing, Briana examines the social and geographical relationships of the west Long Beach neighborhood, which happens to be part of an area known as &quot;Diesel Death Zone&quot;, due to its proximity to the Port of Long Beach/Los Angeles, oil refineries, commercial railways, and other industrial operations, and their effects on the residents of this area.Check out Briana&#x27;s project developing at Peace Lily Press &amp; Microfarm through the months of June to July, while enjoying the stroll in the garden.Peace Lily Press &amp; Microfarm is a private residence, and the location is not made public online.
