Come out to PLAY with the Playmaker Project crew and fellow Playmakers for a day of fun, peer-to-peer learning, and connection!

Join us for our annual Playmaker Playdate on Saturday, September 19th, in Medford, MA. Your ticket includes a keynote, presentations from Playmakers like you, Boston vibes, food, fun, and swag (including an exclusive Playdate Tee)!


Saturday, September 19th: 9 AM - 5 PM EST at the Joyce Cummings Center at Tufts Unviersity in Medford, MA.


Playdate 2026 will include:

  • A morning keynote with our Chief Playmaker, Steve Gross
  • Multiple peer-to-peer learning lessons led by your fellow Playmakers
  • Fun activities and games for networking and social connection with our community
  • Breakfast, lunch, and all-day snacks!

Get ready for inspiration, storytelling, and practical insights from our Founder and Chief Playmaker, Steve Gross, who has spent 30+ years helping educators bring more joy and resilience into their work.

Accommodations/Transportation

This event will take place at the Tufts University, located at the Joyce Cummings Center in Medford, MA, just a few miles northwest of downtown Boston. The campus is easily accessible by car, with a parking lot available across the street for $12.00 , and is also convenient to public transportation, including the MBTA Green Line Extension (Medford/Tufts stop) and local bus routes.

For those traveling from out of town, several hotels are located within a short drive or rideshare distance of campus in Medford, Somerville, and Cambridge.

Hotel availability and pricing may vary depending on demand. Guests are encouraged to book early and inquire directly with their preferred hotel regarding rates and availability for the night.

  • Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston/Cambridge–Arlington
  • Porter Square Hotel
  • Cambria Hotel Boston Somerville

Tickets

Pricing: (available until August 17th 2026, 11:59 PM EST): $75

The ticket registration fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, and a swag item. Tickets do not include hotel or travel accommodations. Registration is limited to 100 Playmakers, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets as soon you possible!


Registration & Cancellation Policy

Ticket payments and fees are refundable up to 30 days prior to our event. We do understand life happens and we want you to take care of yourself! The Life is Good Playmaker Project (LIGPP) will try to take into account any extenuating circumstances that result in cancellation and may allow your fee to be applied to a future event within 6 months. We cannot guarantee fee postponement beyond 6 months of the originally planned event.
