The Second Annual Player Development Symposium is hosted by The Drayton Florence Foundation and City Streets to Student Athletes.  This event will cover important topics necessary for all student athletes, no matter which particular sport they participate in.

Ocala native Drayton Florence has been committed to youth outreach and leadership by using his NFL platform as a catalyst to educate and teach the future generations how to tackle the game of life. The Drayton Florence Foundation has partnered with Rodney Blunt who is the founder of City Streets to Student Athletes (CSSA).  
CSSA was established to deter athletic students from drugs and crime in the city streets and develop them into productive student-athletes.  Our coaches and mentors recognized that there was an epidemic taking place across America. Regardless of financial or ethnic backgrounds, student athletes are facing daily challenges to try illegal drugs.  Student athletes are not reaching their full potential based on lack of exposure, life skills, character development, and peer pressures.A collective group of concerned community leaders came together and cultivated a strategic methodology to assist the student athletes in becoming productive members of society. CSSA has launched a drug-free pledge campaign to educate and support student athletes on living a drug-free life.
We will open registration on a first come first serve basis with 200 seats available,we encourage parents to stay and learn as well. A Gatorade Sponsorship will be given to the school/team that has the most participation!  This is a FREE event. Take advantage of your future!
