Play Without Ceasing

Play Without Ceasing is a queer, campy, witchy theatrical reckoning with evangelical Christianity, religious trauma, and the rise of Christian nationalism. Written and performed by Wren Phoenix and directed by Ash Marinaccio, this part-docudrama, part-revival, part-queer exorcism turns sermons into performance, testimony into ritual, and religious wreckage into something unruly, funny, furious, and liberating. Come to church. Bring your baggage. Leave with your glitter.
