REI- Denver - at the River

Join Women in Sustainability, Patagonia Denver, and Denver Parks &amp; Rec for our first monthly river cleanup of the year!!Last year, for our first cleanup, 80 of you showed up and cleaned up a record-breaking 690 pounds of trash in under two hours. This time? We’re coming back for more—and we want to beat that number! So rally your friends, bring your A-game, and let’s show this river some serious love.***Construction Update*** Currently the path and normal meeting area down below REI (shoemaker plaza) is inaccessible due to construction. For this month's cleanup we will be meeting across the river from REI (@ 2250 15th St, Denver, CO 80202 - you can access this area from the bridge on 15th St).. <h3>What to Bring:</h3><ul><li>Sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water</li><li>Closed-toe shoes and clothes for sun exposure</li><li>Gardening gloves (or borrow a pair from us!)</li><li>Your river-cleanin’ enthusiasm</li></ul>👉 We’ve got you covered with buckets, pickers, gloves, and trash bags—just show up and we’ll get you geared up. <h3>Good to Know:</h3>This event is kid-friendly and pet-friendly (as long as they're well behaved). Parents/guardians will need to sign a waiver for minors onsite with Denver Parks &amp; Rec. We’ll be there with all the paperwork.<h3>Bonus Goodies!</h3>We’ll have free giveaways, high fives, and community-powered joy.
