PLATED

Plated is an intimate courtyard dinner party with a creative twist: when dinner's over, you'll be taking your plate home with you.

To be more precise, you'll be taking home a hand-crafted table setting—a cohesive set of tableware including one dinner plate, one salad bowl, and one dessert plate—designed and handmade by one of ten ceramic artists, specially curated for this event.

An artisanal experience from start to finish, as a Plated guest you'll enjoy a multi-course meal by Chef Kevin Hermann served on your artist-made place setting. You'll spend the evening soaking in the ambiance of the Rockman-Johnson Courtyard in the company of other craft lovers and culinary aficionados, plus you'll take home a set of functional ceramic artworks (and memories) that will last a lifetime.

Each table setting will be unique, made just for Plated, and included in the cost of your meal. While no two settings will be alike, orders will be available if you'd like a full set—or if you'd like to collect settings from other artists!

Itinerary

6:00 PM Guests are invited to preview the table settings.

6:25 PM Guests receive a place card and choose their seats to claim their table setting.

6:30 PM Dinner is served.

➤Price per ticket is $250 and includes dinner, your three-piece ceramic table setting, and a unique, craft-centered experience.

➤The list of participating artists and the available table settings will be revealed at the event.

➤In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the (festively adorned) Blacksmithing Studio.

➤Proceeds from the event will support the craft community, with a portion going directly to the participating artists and a portion supporting new artist opportunities provided by the Store at Contemporary Craft.

➤Plated will be photographed and featured in an upcoming issue of a local print publication.
