Plastic Against Plastic
Classes for elementary-aged kids to learn about the plastics crisis, sustainability, and create a statement art pieces for demonstrations!
About this event
Plastic Against Plastic is a high school volunteer-led project to educate the community about the plastics crisis and recycling and advocate for minimized plastics production, especially that of single-use-plastics.
Each session is different in the art pieces created and each art piece will be representative of environmental issues that stem from plastics and used to advocate for progressive legislation.
Classes are free, but a donation to the Arlington is encouraged. Their donation page is located on their website.
Masks are mandatory. People are welcome to drop in as well and parents may attend.
